Welcome to the Women's Cookbook. We're the newest public cookbook for women. Feel free to browse our index, check our recent changes, add your own recipe, edit an existing recipe, and the options are endless. We're currently in our infancy, but we hope to grow to be the largest Better Home Cookbook made just for women, and their interests.
We currently have 3 Recipes that anyone can edit, ranging on everything from Apple Pie to a delish Greek Salad. If you'd like to add a recipe, just follow the directions below. If you're looking for a recipe, just type in cake, fish, soup, baking, or whatever and our recipe suggest feature will list existing recipes. If we don't have what you're looking for, type in a recipe name and click go. Then click create page, and tell us a little about your creation.
This Cookbook for Women has been started by an everyday cook, probably very similar to you. This place was initially created to help me organize my own recipes, but I wanted a little more community help, so now the Women's Cookbook is public. Hopefully it will help out a few beginner cooks out there, and maybe the occasional pro can teach me a thing or two. Don't be shy. Share a recipe, then build on it!
How this thing works
Feel free to add a recipe to our database. Enter a recipe title at the top of any page, click GO, then click Create this page and share with us how you make your dish. Add as much as you like, and come back whenever to update it. No signup necessary, just click edit.
You may also add YouTube/Google videos to any recipe, upload unlimited images, discuss recipes, create your own profile page, and more. Cut and paste recipe templates to make formatting your recipe a little easier.
I'll be adding more and more recipes over time, but I'd also like your help, too. Follow the simple instructions below to learn how you can add your recipes, to my our website.
How to add your recipe
- Type in a recipe name at the top of any page
- Click "Go"
- If the recipe doesn't already exist, click on "Create this page"
- Add your recipe using our simple Word like editor (see how to edit a recipe)
- Click "Save"
- Revisit your recipe any time at "http://www.womenscookbook.com/your_recipe_name_here"
- If you have a recipe that you'd like to share, but can't quite figure out how to upload it, send us an email, and I'll post it for you. Email anything you want posted to Audrey(at)MensCookbook.com, and I'll post it for you. If you have pictures, send those too. Thanks in advance!

About the author
The Women's Cookbook was founded by Audrey in June of 2008. I continue to add recipes as I come up with new ones. and as my schedule allows it. This is just my side project. Though I'm the Editor of the Women's Cookbook, I'm not the only author. You can add your own recipes and become an author in a few quick steps. Click on the "edit" tab on any page to see how it is formatted. We'd love to see more videos, and hopefully we can get some good user chat going on here. Add as many pages and pictures as you like. No sign up necessary, but we recommend registering so you can be notified when your articles are updated. You can also create a profile about yourself and your cooking background.
If you would like to contact me, please send an email to audrey (the at symbol) womens cook book dot com, and we'll be in touch. Hope you like the site!
